Our modern two-room holiday apartment of 62 m² combines stylish design with peace and quiet and an excellent location. Whether you are planning a cultural break, a walking trip or a relaxing escape, you will find everything you need here.
The apartment is in a complex of six predominantly privately used homes, right on the edge of the forest and the well-known Dollmar walking trail. A holiday could hardly begin more peacefully – yet the old town is only a five-minute walk away.

Living & cooking
The spacious living area with an open-plan kitchen is the heart of the apartment. The fully equipped kitchen has an induction hob with oven, dishwasher, microwave, freezer, kettle, toaster and filter coffee machine, making it ideal for cooking together. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided. The comfortable sofa bed also sleeps up to two additional guests, ideally children.
Sleeping & storage
Alongside the comfortable double bed, the bedroom has space for an extra bed (90 × 200 cm). A special feature is the walk-in wardrobe opposite the bedroom, keeping your living space tidy. All windows have external shutters.
Bathroom & relaxation
The bathroom is your little wellness retreat, with a corner bath including a shower. Handy for longer stays: a washing machine with Ariel Pods is free to use, and a drying rack is provided. Fresh towels and bed linen await you on arrival, together with a hairdryer, soap and toilet paper.
Technology & entertainment
Two smart TVs, including a premium 55-inch set with Netflix in the living room. High-speed 100 Mbps Wi-Fi throughout the apartment.
Outdoor space & parking
The balcony is directly accessible from the living room and invites you to relax outdoors. Free covered parking in the carport is available on the property.

Pets are very welcome. An iron and clothes hangers are provided in the apartment.

The apartment is at Waldhausstraße 8 (first floor above ground level), in a very quiet location on the forest edge yet close to the centre.

Bertholdsburg Castle, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants and cafés.
Four swimming options within four kilometres
Did you know there are four lovely swimming spots within a four-kilometre radius? Waldbad Schleusinger Neundorf, Waldbad Erlau, the swimming pool in Breitenbach and Schleusingen’s outdoor pool. Bergsee Ratscher lake, with boat hire, is also within this radius.
Places to visit
Coburg in Franconia is 30 minutes away, and the state capital Erfurt around 45 minutes. The popular winter sports resort of Oberhof is around 35 minutes away.

Arrival and departure
On arrival day, the house is available from 15:00. Please plan to arrive by 19:00 at the latest. We currently offer contactless check-in; you will receive the key information shortly before arrival. On departure day, please leave the house swept clean by 10:00. Please agree any necessary exceptions with us in advance.
